Integration Engineer

ROLE SUMMARY 

The Integration Engineer ensures SoapBox connects safely and predictably with external enterprise systems, avoiding fragile point-to-point integrations. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Integration Design 

• Design REST-based integration patterns 
• Define contracts, schemas, and validation rules 
• Ensure versioned and backward-compatible APIs 

Implementation 

• Build and test integrations using ORDS and OCI services 
• Implement retries, error handling, and observability 
• Support secure authentication and authorization 

Operational Stability 

• Monitor integration health 
• Handle failures gracefully 
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• 5–8 years of integration development experience 
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integration 
• Understanding of security and authentication 
• Experience working with Oracle platforms preferred
