ROLE SUMMARY
The Domain SME provides real-world validation to ensure the SoapBox platform reflects actual regulated operations, not theoretical models. This role acts as a guardrail against incorrect assumptions, terminology misuse, and compliance gaps during MVP.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Domain Validation
Review workflows, data models, and controls for regulatory accuracy
Validate product assumptions against real operational practices
Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory expectations
Design & Review Participation
Participate in selected design reviews and ARB sessions
Provide feedback on usability, compliance implications, and operational realism
Flag potential compliance risks early
Knowledge Transfer
Educate product and engineering teams on domain nuances
Help define standard operating patterns and exceptions
Support creation of domain-accurate documentation and terminology
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified practitioner with 12+ years of hands-on experience in EHS, Quality, Risk, Compliance, or related regulated domains
Direct experience operating in highly regulated environments
Strong familiarity with audits, inspections, and compliance reporting
Ability to clearly explain complex regulatory concepts to non-domain teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience implementing or using enterprise EHS/QMS/GRC systems
Exposure to global regulatory environments
Prior advisory or consulting experience
