Cloud Security Specialist (Part-time / On-demand)

ROLE SUMMARY 

The Cloud Security Specialist ensures the platform meets enterprise-grade security and compliance expectations without over-engineering. 

This role exists to reduce existential risk. 

ENGAGEMENT MODEL 

• On-demand reviews 
• Quarterly security assessments 
• Incident response readiness 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Security Architecture 

• Review OCI IAM, network segmentation, and encryption 
• Validate tenant isolation and data protection 
• Define security baselines 

Risk Management 

• Perform threat modeling 
• Support risk assessments and remediation plans 
• Assist with audit readiness 

Incident Readiness 

• Define incident response playbooks 
• Support breach simulations 
• Review logging and monitoring effectiveness 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• 8+ years of cloud security experience 
• OCI security expertise 
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC) 
• Strong risk assessment skills 

ASSESSMENT PARAMETERS

• Ability to communicate risk clearly
